Mirror Design

Each cell processing unit (CPU) is arranged with two identical cell processing equipment sets. With the mirror design work flow, one CPU can process two samples simultaneously with minimum risk of cross-contamination. This property has multiple advantages:

    • Double capacity per CPU
    • More flexible cell processing arrangement. Each individual equipment set can be appointed with different purpose, such as sample preparation or cell processing.
    • One CPU can process samples from two donors simultaneously (currently unavailable for business in Taiwan)

Allogenic CPUs

Allogeneic cell therapy utilises stem cells from a donor with compatible human leukocyte antigens (HLA) that can be accepted by the patient.
Autologous CPUs

Autologous cell therapy utilises a patient’s own stem cells, with samples being removed and frozen to maintain them. They are then reintroduced into the body and promote healthy cells production.
In-house QC facility
Autologous CPUs with unidirectional airflow units, suitable to process from patients with HBV, HCV and such.

MVC CPC is a fully dedicated 1,856 square meters (4th floor) facility located in Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park.
MVC CPC is positioned in the immediate vicinity of the MVC vaccine factory. Working in tandem, the two share assets in order to maximise the efficiency of workflow and provide support.
